An organophosphate insecticide active against a variety of insects; inhibits acetylcholinesterase in the house fly with a topical 24-hour LD50 value of 1.8 µg/g; induces reversible hyperglycemia after two and six hours and increases liver glycogen levels by 3.5-fold after six hours at 140 mg/kg
